TAUMARUNUI FIRE
SHOP AND DWELLING DAMAGED Press Association. TAUMARUNUI, To-day. At 3.40 o’clock on Sunday morning a fire broke out in a dwelling with p shop attached occupied by Mrs. M. f'aui and owned by A. Leese and S. vv i Ilia ms. The brigade was quickly °n the scene and made a brilliant save, confining the damage to the front port,le building. The stock in the shop of stationery, **2*s and confectionery was consideraoiy damaged by smoke and water. The building was insured for £675, the jontents of the house for £250, and 1 stock and fittings for £ 350.
