CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS AUCKLAND CLUB Weather conditions showed an improvement over the week-end, though all the courses were in heavy condition. The championship first rounds were played at Auckland and Titirangi. Auckland results were as follows, the score following the winner’s name: H. B. Lusk, 6 and 5, v. T. G. Kissling. W. S. The Nursery Handicap, which goes to the junior returning the best net score, was won by C. Towle, 98, 20 — 78. In the captain’s tourney, A. J. Friedlander and A. O. Boddington finished all square, but Friedlander won the re-play, 4 and 2, and now meets R. O. Gardner in the final. MELBOURNE WRESTLING YOKEL BEATS KILONIS By (’able.—Press Associatio,:.—Copyright MELBOURNE, Sunday. In a wrestling match, Yokel defeated Kilonis yesterday by one fall to nil in six rounds.
