PONSONBY AND NEWTON LEAD Although the Marist-City game was postponed on Saturday, Saturday’s results, so far from complicating the championship position, really give a better idea of how the teams stand at present, because all of the teams, with the exception of City, have played the same number of matches. Ponsonby and Newton, with an identical match record, are running neck and neck together, three points ahead of the next two teams. The details are as follow:
