COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Gunbar sails to-day for Napier, via bays and Gisborne, and returns to Auckland about Wednesday week. The Kawatiri sailed from Westport at 10 a.m. on Saturday for New Plymouth and Auckland. She leaves New Plymouth on Wednesday and is due here on Friday. The Wingatui, from Lyttelton, leaves Wellington to-day for Picton and Auckland and should arrive here next Friday. The Waimea is to sail from Auckland at 4 p.m. to-morrow for Gisborne and Napier and is due back here next Sunday. The Katoa is to load at Dunedin on Wednesday, thence Timaru and Lyttelton for Auckland, and is due here early next week. The Kurow is loading at Port Craig to-day, thence Bluff and Wellington for Auckland. The Kaimanawa loads at Westport on Wednesday for Auckland and should arrive here about Saturday next.

The Waipiata is expected to arrive at Auckland at 5 p.m. to-day from Southern ports, and, after discharge, undergoes her annual overhaul and survey at this port. The Ikala sailed from Dunedin on Saturday for Westport, where she bunkers before proceeding to Melbourne. The Bearport is expected to leave Dunedin to-day for Brisbane to land the remainder of her Pacific Coast cargo. The City of Carlisle, in continuation of her voyage from New York, leaves Auckland to-morrow afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Hobart and Launceston. The Ruahine Is expected to be dispatched from Auckland on Thursday for Wellington to land the balance of her London cargo. The Port Hunter sails from Wellington to-day for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru t.o put out the remainder of her Liverpool cargo. The Tiroa arri\*ed yesterday morning from the East Coast. She loads to-day and sails to-morrow for Hicks Bay and Gisborne. The Isabella de Fraine, which arrived from Hokianga yesterday, loads to-day and sails to-morrow on the return trip. The Portland loads to-day and leaves to-night for Whakatane. The Ronaki sailed at midnight last night for Portland. The Herald arrived from Whangapoa yesterday. The Richardson steamer Awahou will arrive at about 4 o’clock this afternoon from the coast, via Portland. She berths at the Central Wharf and sails at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. The Mako arrives at Portland to-mor-row from East Coast bays and reaches Auckland on Wednesday morning. She loads on Wednesday and sails at 10 a.m. on Thursday for Cape Runaway, Hicks Bay, Te Araroa, Port Awanui, Napier and Wairoa. The Hauiti, leaving for Coromandel and Colville at 2.30 p.m. to-day, returns again at 2 p.m. to-morrow. The Apanui, sailing for Mercury Bay and Tairua at 4 p.m. to-day, returns again at 4 a.m. on Wednesday. The Clansman, leaving at 5 o clock this evening for Russell, Opua, Whangaroa and Mangonui, returns to Auckland again at 7.30 a.m. next Friday. The Waipu sails for Kerepeehi at 1 p.m. to-day and returns again at 3.30 a.m. on Wednesday. The Matangi will sail at 7 o’clock this evening for Tauranga, returning again at 7 a.m. on Wednesday. The Rangitoto, sailing at 3.30 p.m. today for Thames, returns again at 12.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Otimai leaves at 4 p.m. to-day for Whakatane. The Hauturu leaves at 4 p.m. to-day for Kutarere and Opotiki. The Kawan, which was to sail at 11 a.m. to-day for Kawau, Leigh and Mangawai, returns again at 5 p.m. to-mor-row. The Omana, leaving for Brown’s Bay, Arkle’s Bay, Manly, Deep Creelc and Silverdale, returns again at 11.30 to-night. The Taniwha, arriving at 5 a.m. tomorrow from Paeroa, sails again at midnight the same day on the return trip. The Claymore, due from Whangarei at 6 a.m. to-morrow, is scheduled to leave again at 5 p.m. the same day on the return trip.
