PICTURE STARS
REGINALD DENNY Reginald Denny was born in London, England, of a famous theatrical family, and his career has been a most interesting one. He was noted as an amateur boxer and all-round athlete. Possessing a splendid voice, he starred in musical comedy and light opera, then became a leading man in dramatic productions. He served in the British Flying Corps during the war, then came to America and played on the New York stage.
Universal pictures signed him to a long-term contract, at first starring him in “The Leather Pushers,” tworeel boxing series, then advancing him to feature farces as his popularity increased so tremendously. His recent starring pictures have been “What Happened to Jones,” “Skinner’s D.ress Suit,” “Rolling Home” and “Take It From Me.”
