Unoho also fell, bringing clown Glentronie and Perpetual. Mount Cooper and Clan Robert carried on the running, followed by Roisel and Bellanius. Clan Robert assumed the lead at the half-mile post from Roisel, and these two came into the straight on level terms. They fought out a great finish, Roisel winning by three-quarters of a length.
