MAYOR’S MISSING COAT
(Special to THE SUN.) CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. THE Mayor of Christchurch, the Rev. J. K. Archer, went home coatless and cold from a recent city council meeting. His overcoat had been stolen. In the Police Court this morning, Albert Cox, a middle-aged man, appeared to answer a charge of stealing the coat, the value of which was assessed at £5. The accused was remanded to appear cn Tuesday.
