CHURCHMEN CONFER
DIFFERENCES AT LAUSANNE • REPORT OF COMMISSION By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LAUSANNE, Friday. A victory for the Undenominationalists was foreshadowed when the members of the World Conference on Faith and Order received the report of its commission on the message of the Church and the Gospel. Dr. Deissman introduced the report, in which are acknowledged the Incarnation, the Resurrection and the Communion of Saints, which many of the Modernists contested. The former Bishop of Oxford, Dr. C. Gore, drew attention to discrepancies in the wordng of the English, French and German copies of the report. A committee was appointed to secure harmony in the versions in the three languages.—A. and N.Z.
