The Hon G. Fovoids returned to Auckland by the Limited this morning. -yr W. Grounds left for the South by the Limited last evening. Sir George Clifford, who has been seriously ill in Lewisham Hospital, Christchurch, is reported to be making a good recovery. „ Captain P. J. Foster, marine superintendent of the Union Steam Ship Company, is at present in Auckland. He is at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. W. D.
