The Hon G. Fovoids returned to Auckland by the Limited this morning. -yr W. Grounds left for the South by the Limited last evening. Mr P- Hally, Conciliation Commissioner, arrived from the South this morningMr Henry Allen, sharebroker, leaves to-day on the Tofua on a round trip of the Islands. Messrs R. C. Williams and A. L. Warburton were among the passengers who went South by the Limited last evening. \i r W. Sinclair, of Mountain Road, Epsom, left by the Ulimaroa yesterday for an extended tour of Australia. Mr. G. A. Gribbin was re-elected president of the Auckland Masonic Club and Institute at the annual meeting held last night. Sir George Clifford, who has been seriously ill in Lewisham Hospital, Christchurch, is reported to be making a good recovery. „ Captain P. J. Foster, marine superintendent of the Union Steam Ship Company, is at present in Auckland. He is at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. W. D. Stewart, of Wellington, New Zealand superintendent for Dalgety and Company, Ltd., is on a visit to Auckland. Mr. J. S. Dickson, Mr. M. J. Savage. Mr. H. G. R- Mason, Mr. A. Harris, Mr. A. M.
