Ashes Cause Fire.-—As a tin °f ashes was being taken out of owned by Mrs. Thompson in Couo**; Street, Newton, yesterday, a the ashes fell on a pile of curtws causing a blaze. The City Fire bn gade extinguished the flame, tains and a rubber raincoat oow damaged.
