To complete her loading the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Tekoa arrived at Wellington this morning from Wanganui. She is to sail iinally from Wellington next Tuesday lor London and West of PJngland ports, via Panama. TAMAROA FOR TIMARU. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advises that the liner Tamaroa leaves Napier to-day for Timaru and Wellington to complete her loading, and is scheduled to sail finally from the latter port on August 27 for Southampton and London, via Panama. CYMRIC PRIDE LEAVES BOWEN. —Cable advice received by Spedding, Limited, states that the steamer Cymric Pride, en route from Java, left Bowen on Thursday for Auckland, where she is due next Friday, August 19. WALCHEREN REPORTS. The Dutch steamer Walcheren, en route from Montreal, has reported by wireless that she was 1,100 miles from Auckland at noon yesterday. In consequence her arrival is now expected on Wednesday. The vessel is running under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company’s Eastern Canadian service. Her general merchandise cargo is for discharge at Auckland, 'Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin and Sydney. CITY OF CARLISLE ARRIVES.— The New Zealand Shipping Company’s chartered steamer City of Carlisle arrived at Auckland last evening from New York, and berthed at eight o’clock this morning at Prince’s Wharf to commence the discharge of the local portion of her cargo. The vessel, which used to be called the Kathlamba, left New York on July 3, and completed loading at Newport News two days later. She . coaled at Colon on July 12, and cleared Balboa the next day. On the way across a call was made at Suva and Levuka. Generally fair weather prevailed throughout, the first part of the voyage being made at a good speed. Latterly, however, variable winds, blowing at times from hard to a gale, were experienced, especially when nearing New Zealand. The City of Carlisle brought a cargo of case oil and general merchandise, the latter consisting mainly of motor tyres, motor accessories, and manufactured goods. Captain J. A. Mordue is in command, and has with him the following officers: Chief, Mr. C. W. Cross; second, Mr. W. R. Cherry; third, Mr. C. S. Buckmaster; chief enginer, Mr. W. Gardner; second, Mr. J. Brown; third, Mr. W. Stewart; fourth, Mr. W. W. Hunter; fifth, Mr. J. Mackay; wireless operator, Mr. J. Young.
