ENGINE DERAILED
TRAIN HELD UP SMALL SHUNTING MISHAP A derailment at Rangiriri this morning delayed the 7.18 o’clock Frankton Junction-Auckland train for 40 minutes. During shunting operations the engine of a goods train ran off at the points. It was not a serious derailment, but it was some time before the locomotive could be replaced. Fortunately the Limited had passed through. She arrived on time, and carried a full load of passengers.
