WAITEMATA WOMEN’S PROGRESSIVE LEAGUE

The Waitemata Women’s Progressive League held its monthly social last evening at the residence of Mrs. J. W. Greville. Bayswater. Despite the bad weather there was a good attendance of members and their friends. Dr. Wilkie, in a very instructive address on the health of the school child, gave a detailed account of medical work being done for New Zealand children and also outlined the efforts that are being made to safeguard children’s health throughout the world.

Musical items were contributed by Mesdames Blackwell, Camberworth* Jones and Miss Greville. During *the evening a cordial welcome was extended to the new members enrolled during the month.
