INDIAN MISSION TO CHINA MEDICAL AID TO ARMIES By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright DELHI. Thursday. The Government of India has refused to issue passports to the members of the proposed medical mission to China. The mission was composed of Indian social workers, whose object was to give medical aid to the combatants in the Chinese civil warfare. The Government says that if it were to grant the facilities desired in the combatant ayea its action would be construed as a departure from the attitude of the British Government of strict impartiality toward the Chinese combatants. —A. and N.Z.
