FORD STERLING Ford Sterling was born on Nov—ber 3, ISS3 in La Crosse. Old John Robinson's circus came town and Ford, like many other bon hung around the circus, feeding t' elephants, and finally when it left to it took Ford along with it. He given a job helping out with the clowr! and soon was featured as Keno the ft, Clown. In between musical comedies he in vaudeville with the "Sidewalk , medy Talking Act,” the team kno^
as “McAvoy and Sterling.” Mack Sennet saw him and he signed up with the old Keystone Comedies seven years ago, and he has been working in motion picture comedies in California ever since. He has been, a director and producer under his own name. Sterling was given the title role in “The Show Off" taken from the stage play of that name. He also appeared in “Everybody's Acting” and “Casey at the Bat.”
