Government May Be Overthrown Fianna Fail Party Will Take Oath WITH the decision of the Fianna Fail Party to take the oath of allegiance in the Irish Free State Dail, there is a likelihood of the Cosgrave Government being overthrown, for it will lose its working majority. A crisis is imminent.

Sinn Fein 6 Independents . . 15 END OF DAIL BOYCOTT DE VALERA’S APPEAL FAILS Reed. 12.51 p.m. LONDON, Wednesday The “Daily Mail's” Dublin correspondent says that Mr. De Valera strongly appealed for a continuance of the Dail boycott, but he failed to impress his followers, the majority declaring that the Electoral Bill had completely changed the situation, therefore a change of policy was essential to save the Party from extinction. Mr. De Valera, under strong pressure, finally agreed to release the deputies from the election pledge against accepting a position involving the oath of allegiance to a foreign Power.—A. and N.Z.
