Sympathy. —The Devonport Borough Council last night carried a resolution of sympathy with the wife and family of the late Mr. John Henderson, who formerly was Mayor of the borough, and had been eight years in the council. In moving the motion, the Mayor, Mr. E. Aldridge, referred to the work of Mr. Henderson, his manly virtues and useful life, and the faith that always inspired him.
