“LA DONNA t MOBILE”
CALLER ARRESTED WOMAN FRIEND NO LONGER “Once a friend, always a friend ” is the belief of William Mathews, aged 32, but he learned to-day that woman is changeable. Mathews was charged at the Police Court with being found without lawful excuse at a house in Vincent Pla.ce yesterday. Senior-Sergeant Edwards said that the house was that of a woman whom Mathews had known some years ago. He was told to go away, and finally the police were called in. However, he called again in the evening, walked inside, and made himself at home. The next time the police came he was arrested. “I had too much liquor at the time,” said Mathews to Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M. He was fined £2.
