CAMBRIDGE BALL

FRIDAY’S CARNIVAL Cambridge is promised the best carnival night in the history of the town on Friday, when a “grand citizens ball’’ will be held in the Town Hall. Novel lighting effects will make a spectacular show of the dancers, who will be provided with balloons, favours, and streamers. There will also be exhibition dances to give the correct cabaret atmosphere. Delightful music will be played by the Dixieland Famous Internationals, the leading dance orchestra in Auckland. To-morrow night the hall will be opened with vaudeville and pictures, and the Dixieland Internationals will add to the entertainment with the latest songs and foxtrots
