NAVY LEAGUE MEMBERS ENJOY BRIDGE

INTEREST IN SEAPLANES Bowls of spring flowers decorated the Navy League rooms in Auckland last night, when the president, Mr. John Alexander, who was accompanied by Mrs. Alexander, addressed members on seaplanes. The flags, which also took a prominent part in the decorative schemes gave the tables a bright and cheery appearance. Commander J. It. Middleton was in the chair.' About 130 * people participated in bridge after Mr. Alexander’s interesting address. The committee responsible for the gathering included: —Mrs. E. Gallaugher, president; Mrs. A. V. Penn, Mrs. It. Wright, Mrs. McKay, Mrs. Streeter, Mrs. Glasgow, Mrs. Mitchelson, Mrs. H. Rainger, Mrs. Munro Clark, Miss Morton and Miss Herrold.
