OFFICIAL QUOTATIONS Under date August 6, the New Zealand High Commissioner in London cabled the Department of Agriculture as follows: Tallow. —No auction this week. Market quiet but steady at last quotation. Wool. —Bradford market quiet. Prices for tops remain unchanged. Casein. —Present quotation for rennet is £63 to £69. Eggs. —Prices higher and market firm. Present quotations are:—Dutch, 13s 6d to 17s a long 100: English and Danish, 13s 6d to 15s; Swedish, 13s 3d to 14s 9d; Lithuanian, 8s 9d to 11s 3d; Belgium, 13s 6d to 13s 9d; Russian and Polish, Ss 6d to 9s 6d. Apples.— London market cleared at last week’s quotation. Corinthic due on Monday. Hemp. —Manila market easier. Demand is limited. “J” grade, August-Octo-ber shipments quoted £42 10s sellers. Sisal: Market quiet. Value August-O' - tober shipments, Tanganyika No. 1, £3B to £3B ss, and No. 220 s less. New Zealand market quiet but steady. Buyers might pay New Zealand sellers highpoints £35 10s. fair £34 10s, and common £33 10s lor August-Qctober shipments.
