NEW RAILWAY SIDINGS
READY IN SEPTEMBER WORK GOING AHEAD By next September part of the new railway yards of the Auckland station will be in operation. Y\7’ORK recently has been concen- * * trated on the new permanent sidings and new goods shed. This is the slack time of the year for the railways, and work has gone ahead splendidly. By next September, when the busy season begins, it will be possible to use the new permanent goods sidings, even though the whole of the new system is not complete. By using these sidings railway business will not be delayed through lack of space.
