MARRIAGE DISSOLVED

JURY FINDS FOR HUSBAND CO-RESPONDENT PAYS COSTS A verdict that the respondent, Rebecca Totman (Mr. J. J. Sullivan) had committed misconduct with George Lambert was returned by the jury at the hearing for divorce brought by Clement Totman (Mr. Endean) before Mr. Justice Herdman in the Supreme Court yesterday. The parties were married in 1897 and there were four children. Petitioner alleged that his wife was too fond of gadding about and had finally left him in 1923 to live with Lambert. Allegations of cruelty brought by the respondent were strenuously denied by the petitioner. His Honour granted a decree nisi and ordered co-respondent to pay the costs on the highest scale, and £2f» for the costs and disbursements.
