THE LATE MR. S. STANTON
Air. Samuel Stanton, who ukd his residence*. 45 Cheshire Street, Tut nell. yesterday afternoon, at the a.. of 68, was born at Walsall, Staffo:. shire, England. Arriving in New Zealand with h parents in 1863, Mr. Stanton lived i< a time at Port Albert, but l£ter to Thames. He then came to land and served his tailoring appr* ticeship with Mr. Charles Langsforc In 1895 Air. Stanton opened a busing of his own in Manukuu Read. Pvnell. Air. Stanton is survived by his will one son, Air. E. I. Stanton, AucW»F£ and five daughters, Mrs. <J. C« T - Pongaroa, Hawke’s Bay: Mrs. J. f Henderson and Airs. TV. Kuiti: Ali-s. C. B. Prislon and Mr Ala vis Stantain of Auckland.
