Of this total, Germany is constructing a steamer of 1,200 tons and nine motorships of 60,300 tons gross and Sweden motor-ships of an aggregate tonnago of 70,850 tons. The total Norwegian tonnage under construction in Denmark is 51,100 tons, in France 28,000 tons, in England 17,000 tons, and in Holland 9,000 tons, while in Norway itself only 5,200 tons are being constructed representing nine small steamer*. k
