SWEDISH STAR DEAD
EINAR HANSON KILLED AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT The death took place at Hollywood on June 7 of Einar Hanson, the Swedish motion picture star. He received fatal injuries after a mysterious automobile accident on a lonely road. Hanson was born in Stockholm on June 15, 1899, and came to the United States in November of 1925. He recently worked as leading man in a number of pictures for Pola Negri, Clara Bow, Esther Ralston, Corinne Griffith and Anna Q. Nilsson. His latest screen productions were: “Children of Divorce” with Clara Bow; and “Fashions for Women,” with Esther Ralston. Both were recently at the Regent in Auckland.
