WAIKATO FARMERS APPROVE Approval of the calf-marketing selleme adopted in the Waikato was voiced at a meeting of the Waikato sub-provincial branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union to-day, when a resolution was passed on the following lines: “That, in view of the apparent possibilities of the calf-marketing scheme, the Waikato sub-provincial branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union encourage the movement for the export of veal by members supplying calves to the company now operating, and that farmers be advised to send out only their best calves.
