Mr. F. X. Bartram, M.P., returned from Wellington this morning. The Kev. C. X. Luker, of Cambridge, has been appointed as vicar of Tjruti, Taranaki. Mr. A. Gray was a passenger from the South on the Limited this morning. Mr. J. S. Dickson, M.F., left for Wellington by the Limited last evening. Mr. Robert Laidlaw. general manager of the Farmers' Union Trading Company, returned from Wellington by the Limited this morning. Mr. H. C. Thomas, formerly manager for Paramount in Java, who arrived in Auckland by the Xiagara, is visiting relatives in Rotorua.
