WOMAN ARTIST OF 83

MISS ISABEL DACRE HONOURED! BY CITIZENS OF MANCHESTER A woman artist of S 3, Miss Isabel Dacre, has been honoured by the citizens of Alanchester, where she lived for a large part of her life. A group of her admirers have purchased one of her pictures, and presented it to the Alanchester Art Gallery, which, to show the importance with which it regards the gift, is arranging to hold in the autumn a special representative exhibition of Aliss Dacre’s works. In spite of her great age, Aliss Dacre retains her health. She now lives at Blackheatli, where she still works at her craft.
