CHRISTCHURCH GIRL’S DEATH AT COOGEE
NAME MAYNF. NOT WAYNE Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. The girl from Christchurch, whose body was recently found at the foot of a cliff at Coogee, Sydney, was Sarah Mayne, not Wayne, as reported by cable. Her age was given as 19 years The first intimation of the tragedy was received by the Christchurch police a week ago. An aunt who lives in Christchurch and the police were given to understand that John Vernon Donnelly, with whom the girl had eloped, cabled to the relatives for money and they forwarded him a considerable sum at the end of last month-
