LAND SETTLEMENT LEAGUE
ELECTION OF OFFICERS A meeting of the New Zealand Land Settlement and Development League was held yesterday. Mr. W. J. Holdsworth, vice-president, occupied the chair. Mr W. W. Massey was appointed president of the executive committee, vice-president, Mr. W. J. Holdsworth; and Mr. W. McArthur, chairman of the management committee. The following were elected members of the executive: Messrs. W. J. Broadfoot, P. J. Crump, N. G. Gribble, E. Harding, W. Noton, C. F. Bennett, G. Finn. S. Hodge, M. G. McArthur, E. Yates. The following sectional committees were also set up: Land Settlement and Immigration.— Messrs. Massey, C. F. Bennett, W. J. Broadfoot. J. E. Macgill, E. Yates, and N. G. Gribble. Production and Marketing. —Messrs. Geo. Finn, M. G. McArthur and Prof. Riddett. Industries, Economics and Finance.— Messrs. W. J. Holdsworth, Dr. Belshaw, W. McArthur, J. A. C- Allum, A. A. Ross and P. J. Crump Office Routine and Publicity. —Messrs. W. McArthur, C. F. Bennett, and N. G. Gribble.
