WATERLOO CUP OPENS AT CHRISTCHURCH Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. The ninth Australian and New Zealand Waterloo Cup Blue Ribbon event in Dominion coursing circles commenced this afternoon under the auspices of the Christchurch Coursing Club. The final acceptance of only 35 dogs was rather disappointing. The coursing was good and the hares very strong, and only six kills occurred Following are the results: Australasian Waterloo Cup, 35 dogs, at five guineas; winner £IOO and silver cup, runner-up £3O, third £ls, two at £7 10s, four at £5 ss.—First round: J Hannan’s Mickey Free beat J.
