NATIONALS AND LIBERALS THE National Party would appear to be attracted by the proposition advanced by Mr.. W. A. Veitch and his newly-revised Liberal Party. Mr. G. W. Forbes, Leader of the Nationals, is now in a position to announce that his party has been negotiating with the Liberals at several conferences, and in the words of Mr. Forbes, “Negotiations are proceeding for a union of forces."
