ANOTHER FOG

HINDERS HARBOUR TRAFFIC MAHENO NOT DELAYED Another heavy fog blotted out Auckland this morning, making harbour traffic rather difficult. The Maheno, from Sydney, ran into the fog off Rangitoto early this morning, but felt her way up the harbour and dropped anchor off Stanley Bay. Passengers on the ferry steamers were disembarked at the end of the Queen’s Wharf, instead of at the usual places near the Ferry Building. The fog was not so heavy as yesterday, but the sirens in the harbour were working and the bells on the wharves rang out their warning.
