HEALTH THE REASON Press Association . WELLINGTON, Monday. Mr. T. R. Cresswell, headmaster of Wellington College, has asked the board of governors to relieve him of his duties for health reasons, his resignation to take effect from early next year. Mr. Cresswell was educated at the Christchurch Boys’ High School and Canterbury College, taking his M.A. degree with honours in 1891. Before taking up the position of principal of Wellington College he was senior inspector of secondary schools. Mr. Cresswell has always taken a keen interest in sport, particularly cricket, and he was a representative footballer. He is also a keen territorial officer and holds the 12 and 16 years’ long service medals and the officers’ decoration for 20 years’ efficient service.
