AIRMEN KILLED

FATAL NOSE-DIVE A DANGEROUS STUNT By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Reed. 11.21 a.m. LONDON, Monday. Flying-Officer Boon and Aircraftman Vincent were killed at Farnborough in a Bristol lighter. They were circling the airdrome when Pilot Boon made an oversharp turn. The Bristol nose-dived 500 feet and crashed killing Vincent instantaneously. Boon was just alive when the ambulance arrived. He died immediately. Boon was flying with five others at a low altitude, owing to the poor visibility. In order to reach the airdrome he banked steeply to the left, a safe stunt when at a fair height, but most dangerous when flying low. —A. and N.Z.
