Jlr. W. D. Donaldson, assistant manager of the White Star Line, Liverpool, is at present in Auckland. Mr. E. V. Bevan, acting-manager of Shaw, Savill and Albion Company, Ltd.. Wellington, arrived in Auckland yesterday. Mr. L. B. Campbell, the district engineer of the Public Works Department. left by train for Wellington last night. Judge Mac Cormack, who is to attend sittings of the Native Appellate Court in Wellington and Wanganui, left by train last evening. Sir Benjamin Fuller arrived by the Niagara from Sydney to-day. He intends spending a few days in Auckland. Mr. Vincent H. Freeth has joined the directorate of the Jewell-Skinner Advertising Agency, Ltd. and takes charge of the North Island operations of the agency at Wellington from August 1. Captain P. J. Foster, marine superintendent of the Union Company, Wellington, arrived at Auckland by the express yesterday. He is staying at Cargen. Mr. H. S. W. King, the president of the New Zealand Technical Education Association, is to attend the annual •conference of the association at Wellington. He will leave for the South this evening.
