(1) That the Auckland City Council proposes to engage in the following undertaking, namely—Tramways and Transport Development by extending and duplicating the existing Tram Tracks, the erection of Omnibus Depots, including garages, the acquisition of the necessary land therefor, and the provision of new Tram Cars. (2) That the Auckland City Council, being unable to provide the funds for such works out of its ordinary revenue, proposes to raise a Special Loan of not exceeding £500,000, to be known as the Tramways and Transport .Development Loan, 1927. (3) That’ the said Loan will be repayable at the end of thirty years with provision for a Sinking Fund of 1J per cent, per annum. (4) That the proposed security for the said Loan shall be a Special Rate of 4id in the £ on the annual rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Auckland. (5) That the Auckland City Council proposes to pay out of the Loan the costs, charges, and expenses of and in connection with the raising thereof, but not the interest or sinking fund thereon for the first year. (6) The copy of the resolution passed by the Local Government Loans Board and certified to by the Chairman may be seen at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auckland, during business hours.
