“THE EXQUISITE SINNER” George K. Arthur, who plays the **ole of the colonel’s orderly in Josef von Sternberg’s “The Exquisite Sinner,” the Jletro-Goldwyn-Mayer production now being shown at the Grand Theatre, is a product of one of the most famous institutions of learning m the world—Rugby, England. The Great War called Arthur away, nnd he was on the firing line for five years in Belgium, France and Italy betore the conclusion of the conflict. He first attracted attention in “The Salvation Hunters,” the film which brought its director, Josef von Sternberg, also into the public eye. He has since played in “Sun-Up.” “Lady of the Night,” “Pretty Ladies” and Lights of Old Broadway.” Other members of the cast of “The Lxquisite Sinner” are: Conrad Nagel, Renee Adoree, Paulette Duval, Frank Ourrier, Matthew Betz, Helena D’Algy a nd Claire Dußrey.
