“DON’T TALK NONSENSE”
S.M. REBUKES PRISONER When Leonard Walter Lash, aged 30, was charged at the Police Court to-day with stealing a kitbag and goods valued at £ 4, he seemed to have a grievance. When told that he had a right to trial by jury, he burst out: —“I’ll go to the Supreme Court where-I can defend this thing in a proper way.” “Don’t talk nonsense,” said Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., “you’re remanded for a week.” Lash was also charged with failing to comply with a maintenance order.
