ELECTION OF OFFICERS Press Association. WELLINGTON. Friday. The election of officers of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union resulted: Dominion president. Mr. W. J. Poison (Fordell), re-elected; Dominion vicepresidents, Messrs. E. 11. Murray (Tapanui). R. D. Duxfield (Horotiu), and H. B. Stuckey (Dannevirke), all re-elected; advisory committee, Messrs. W. Morrison (Maxwelltown), A. E. Harding (Dargaville), D. Dickie (Gore), W. W. Mulholland (Darfield), J. Preston (Flag Swamp), F. Colbeck (Morrinsville); Dominion treasurer, Mr. R. S. Chadwick (Dannevirke); Dominion secretary, Mr. J. Pow (Wellington). The conference decided to increase Mr. Pow’s salary by £SO in view of Ins able work. WOMEN’S DIVISION The election of officers in the Women’s Division resulted:—President, Mrs. W. J. Poison (Wanganui): vice-presidents, Lady Hunter (Hawke's Bay), Mrs. Mathieson (ManawatuL Mrs. Jackson (Wairarapa). Mrs. Harris (Marton), Mrs. McKenzie (Invercargill), Mrs. Lilburn (Wanganui), Mrs. Derbyshire (Marlborough), Mrs. Smith (Gore); secretary, Mrs. Pow ("Wellington); hon. treasurer, Mrs. Jackson.
