Two veterans of '67. On the right Mr. Alexander ( Sandy ) Bruce, who claims to he Auckland’s oldest citizen ; having been born here in August 1843. He pegged out some famous claims, including the Occidental. Over 44 years of prospecting and mine-managing hale been the lot of Mr. James McAnteer, shown on the left. He is now 87 years old , and is hale and hearty.
