MR. GROUNDS NOT TAKING AN AGENCY

RUMOUR DENIED DUE TO OTHER ACTIVITIES An emphatic denial is given the rumour that'Mr. W. Grounds, chairman of the Dairy Produce Control Board, has accepted an appointment as New Zealand representative of A. J. Mills and Company, Ltd., London, dairy produce importers. Mr. Grounds himself denies that he has ever entertained such an arrangement, while Mr. W. W. Bowker, Auckland agent of Mills and Company, who referred the question to his principals, is in receipt of a cabled denial. It is considered that the rumour arose out of Mr. Ground’s activities in connection with a northern marketing scheme which he has endeavoured to launch.
