Latest news from the New Guinea goldfields reports important developments, and the anticipation of discovery of gold-bearing reefs has been fulfilled. On the Day Dawn Syndicate’s property at Buloio, a reef was struck at a depth of 16ft, samples from one part of which yielded 2J ounces, and on another part 20 ounces of gold to the ton. —A. and N.Z.
