WORK FOR THE YEAR The annual report of the Avondak Fire Brigade, presented to the meeting, showed that there hacl~ 18 calls during the year and the bn ®;^ d had responded with promptness good effect. For the ensuing year the *° llo ln . officers have been elected: Sup tendent, L. Watson deputy-superintendent, L. Vine , ’ foreman,, G. Heron (unopposed). - drantman, F. Adolf; branduwft Hooker (unopposed); secretary. ' Brady (unopposed); treasurer. Nunns (unopposed): auditors, *1 - C. E. Fearon ard G. Bell.
