FURNITURE FACTORY FIRE

WORKSHOP BADLY DAMAGED Press Association. NAPIER, Thursday. An outbreak of fire to-day almost destroyed the workshop of Messrs. Allen and Harris, furniture makers. The building was situated at the rear of a large shop, which, fortunately, was secured by fire-proof doors. The extent of the damage has not yet been ascertained. Insurances totalling £12,2.10 on the contents are distributed among a nurnr ber of offices.
