BARTHOLOMEWS IMPROVE BANK OF N.S.W. AT £45 Bank of New South Wales have weakened to see a sale at £45 yesterday afternoon. Other banking scrip is quietIn 'coals, Hikurangis continue to firm, and preference shares were sought this morning at 6s, with no sellers quoting. Bartholomew Timbers are improving, and buyers at 20s to-day drew no sellers. The miscellaneous section is idle, and the market practically unchanged. Mining is depressed and inactive. Moanataiaris have weakened to see a sale at 2s lid. Waihis are also easier, though Junctions passed this morning at Is 6d. The market for debentures is quiet, with little business passing. New Zealand Breweries are in better tone, with firm buyers at £1 3s Gd.
