HAMILTON RUGBY

SUB-UNION MEETS (From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, To-day. At a meeting of the Management Committee of the Hamilton Rugby Sub-Union last night, advice was received from Ilauraki Plains, stating that it would be unable to meet Hamilton in a Peace Cup match this year. The Marist Club advised the subunion of its intention to oppose the bracketing of its junior team with High School as winners of the Elliott Shield for 1927. The appeal was referred to the Junior Advisory Board. The Sage Cup final fixtures for Saturday were arranged as follow:—City v. Old Boys; Huntly v. Frankton; Technical Old Boys v. Ngaruawahia.
