COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Gunbar, which is due at Auckland on Friday from East Coast ports, slips on Monday for cleaning and painting. She is to leave here next Tuesday evening on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier via bays. The Wingatui, from Bluff, leaves Lyttelton to-morrow evening for Auckland direct, where she is due on Sunday morning. The Kaimanawa is up to leave Auckland at 11 p.m. to-day for Westport, where she loads again for this port. The Karori is expected to arrive at Auckland late to-morrow from Westport and after discharge returns to the West Coast. The Waipori is to load at Westport to-morrow for Auckland and is expected here early next week. The Kamona, which has been fixed to load at Greymouth on Saturday for Auckland, should arrive here about Wednesday next. The Waipiata should arrive here this evening from Southern ports and berths at Prince’s Wharf. After discharge at Auckland, she loads here and leaves on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. The Kartigi, which left Auckland last night for Portland, sails from there tomorrow afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Katoa leaves Dunedin to-morrow, calling en route at Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, for Auckland. She is due here toward the end of next week. The West Hensliaw arrived at Lyttelton this morning from Wellington and leaves next Monday for Dunedin to complete her discharge. The YVaihemo is due at Bluff to-day from Dunedin and leaves on Saturday for New Plymouth to land the remainder of her Pacific Coast cargo. The Pleiodon is to leave Timaru to-day for San Francisco to load again for New Zealand. The Cheniston is at present bar-bound and is expected to leave Westport as soon as the bar moderates for Makatea Island. The Elsie Mary sails to-day for Gisborne. The Canadian Seigneur was to leave Lyttelton last night for Timaru. From there she goes to Dunedin to complete
discharge, and then returns to Wellington and Auckland to load for the homeward trip. The Mahurangi arrived last night from Portland. The Hikurangi arrived early this morning from Onerahi. The Kaimanawa was to change from Sheerlegs Wharf to Prince’s Wharf at 11 a.m. to-day. The Richardson steamer Mako, which arrived last night from Portland, sails again at 5 p.m. to-day for East Coast bays, Napier and Waikokopu. The Awahou sailed last night for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. The Kanna is to move from Chelsea to King’s Wharf at 5 p.m. to-day. The Matangi, which has been delayed by bad weather, was to arrive from Tauranga at noon to-day. She sails again on the return trip at 7 o’clock this evening. The Rangitoto, sailing for Thames at 12.45 p.m. to-day, returns again at 10.30 a.m. to-morrow. The Omana, arriving from Waiheke at 7 p.m. to-day, is to be dispatched at 10 o’clock to-morrow morning for Kawau, Mullet Point and Matakana. The Kawau, arriving from Kawau, Leigh and Mangawai at 1 o’clock this afternoon, sails again an hour later for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point, and Little and Big Omaha. The Hauiti, arriving from Coromandel at 9.30 p.m. to-day, sails again at 10 a.m. to-morrow for Kopu and Turua. The Waipu, arriving from Kerepeehi at 11 p.m. to-day, sails again at 11 p.m. to-morrow on the return trip. The Taniwha, arriving from Paeroa at 2 a.m. to-morrow, leaves again at 10 p.m. the same day on the return trip. The Waitemata is due at Bluff to-day from Wellington and la :er proceeds to Melbourne and Sydney. The Canadian Seigneur is due at Timaru to-day from Lyttelton and leaves again to-night for Dunedin. The City of Corinth sails from W ellington to-morrow for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and Australia. The Matatua leaves Oamaru to-day for New Plymouth, thence Wellington, Napier, Gisborne and Auckland to complete her loading for Antwerp and London. The Maryland is expected to sail from Auckland next Monday for Westport, where she bunkers before proceeding probably to Australia. The Cambridge leaves Wellington today for Lyttelton and Dunedin to land the balance of her Liverpool cargo. The Persian Prince, now completing her discharge at Wanganui, later proceeds to Westport for bunkers, thence Ocean and Nauru Islands. The Rimutaka is expected to leave Dunedin to-day for Lyttelton and New Plymouth to put out the remainder of her cargo from London.
