Monte Blue’s latest Warner Master Picture “The Brute,'* is now completed. In it the star is seen in the character of a cowpuncher, whose adventures take him into the sand waste*® 1 Death Valley and later to the OKia* homa oil fields. Actual locations were used for the filming of these two quences. Another point of interest in ‘The Brute is the first appearance*® Leila Hyams as i Warner leading * aa -' Miss Hyams is now a eon tract pl*>* with the company. Irving Cummins* directed. Clyde Cook, Carrol Nyc *n Paul Xicholson are in the cast.
